나주에서 시작된 7명의 새로운 예술 이야기
7 Artists, New Stories Begin in Naju

서로 다른 곳에서 온 예술가들이
‘나주’라는 하나의 공간에서 만났습니다.

지난 7일 나빌레라문화센터에서
〈2026 나주형 국제예술 레지던시 네트워킹 데이〉가 열렸습니다.

올해 국제예술 레지던시에는
국외작가 4명과 국내작가 3명, 총 7명의 시각예술 작가가 함께하는데요.

작가들은 오는 11월 30일까지 나주에 머물며
나주의 역사와 문화, 공간과 자연, 생활문화​를 직접 만나고,
각자의 시선과 예술적 언어로 새로운 작품을 만들어갑니다.

이번 네트워킹 데이는 앞으로 함께할 작가들이 서로를 알아가고,
나주에서 펼쳐질 창작과 교류의 첫걸음을 내딛는 시간이었습니다.

앞으로 나빌레라문화센터와 죽림동 소통창작소를 중심으로
작가 간 협업 프로젝트부터 오픈스튜디오와 결과전시까지 이어질 예정입니다.

낯선 도시를 바라보는 7개의 시선은
과연 어떤 작품으로 이어질까요?

2026 Naju International Artist Residency

Seven visual artists — four international and three Korean artists — have come together in Naju for a new journey of art and exchange.

The Networking Day marked the beginning of their residency, where the artists met, connected, and shared the first moments of their creative journey in Naju.

Until November 30, the artists will explore Naju’s history, culture, spaces, nature, and everyday life, transforming their experiences into works through their own artistic perspectives.

Their journey will continue through collaborative projects, Open Studios, and a final exhibition, creating opportunities to share their creative process with the local community.
